Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Hero Smash (“the game”, “the app”) handles information. “We” and “us” refer to the developer of Hero Smash.

1. Information we collect

None. The game does not collect any personal or device information, and it does not send any data anywhere. The app does not request the Android internet permission, so it cannot transmit data from your device. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, and no online features.

The game does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, files or any other personal information on your device.

2. Information stored on your device

To let you continue playing, the game saves its own data locally, in the app’s private storage on your device. This includes your game progress (heroes, cards, currencies, trophies, arenas, event and challenge progress), the player name you choose, and your settings (such as language, sound and notification preferences).

• This data never leaves your device through the game, and we cannot see or access it.
• You can delete it at any time by clearing the app’s data in Android Settings or by uninstalling the game.
• If you have turned on Android’s device backup, Android may include the game’s local data in your personal device backup, which is managed by Google under your Google account and its privacy terms. We do not receive or have access to these backups.

3. Notifications

The game can show optional reminder notifications, for example when a daily reward is ready. These reminders are scheduled locally by the app on your device. They are not sent from a server, and no information is transmitted to show them.

On Android 13 and newer, the game asks for your permission before showing notifications. You can turn reminders off at any time in the game’s Settings, or in Android Settings › Apps › Hero Smash › Notifications.

4. Advertising, purchases and third parties

The game contains no advertising and no in-app purchases. It does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking libraries (SDKs), and it does not use an advertising ID.

Google Play, the store you download the game from, may collect information according to Google’s own privacy policy (for example, to process installations or to provide crash statistics to developers). This is outside the game and outside our control.

5. Opponents, clan and chat

All opponents, clan members and other in-game characters are computer-controlled. The emoji chat only shows reactions inside the game. You cannot communicate with, or share information with, other people through the game.

6. Children’s privacy

Hero Smash is suitable for a general audience. Because the game collects no personal information from anyone, it does not collect personal information from children, including children under 13 in the United States (COPPA) or under the applicable age in the European Union and the United Kingdom (GDPR). The game contains no ads, no purchases and no way to contact other people. Parents or guardians with questions can contact us using the details below.

7. Your rights

Data protection laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) and the CCPA/CPRA (California) give you rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Since we do not collect or hold any personal data, we have no data to provide, correct or delete. All game data stays on your device, where you remain in full control of it.

8. Security

The game’s local data is kept in the app’s private storage, which Android protects from other apps. Because nothing is transmitted, there is no data in transit to secure.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. If a future version of the game were ever to collect or share any data, we would update this policy and the store listing before that version is released.
